2 September 2010 - WCC Networking Dinner
Did you know?
Young IT Professionals of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) are organising a networking dinner on 20th September (Monday) evening in Brisbane. This is a part of the World Computer Congress and will be held at the River Room at South Bank. It’s a lovely room overlooking the river and is about 5 minutes walk from the Brisbane Convention Centre where WCC is held.
The dinner has a networking focus with a few inspirational speakers and a awards ceremony. You will also get to network with the leaders of the ICT industry and ACS leadership led by the President Anthony Wong. Young leaders of ACS led by Yasas Vishuddhi Abeywickrama (Director ACS Young IT) and Joel Nation (Deputy Director Young IT) will also be around.
This dinner is held immediately after the WCC Welcome Reception on Monday, so is an ideal spot for your dinner on the first day of the Congress. Please note that there are no other official WCC activities at this time, so is the best way to utilise your time at this world class Congress.
