*Students must be able to verify that they are a fulltime student by forwarding a signed letter from their head of department to the congress managers on request.

SEARCC registration includes:

SEARCC registrations do not include copies of the conference proceedings volume/s for the IFIP conferences. Copies of conference proceedings volumes may be purchased subject to availability at the congress. If you would like to purchase specific volumes, please express your interest when you register via the online registration site.

Financing

Student attendees can find financing through online financial lenders. Specifically, short term loans, give students the necessary funding to purchase conference proceedings volume/s, hotel accommodations, and meals. Full time college students do receive a registration discount. Bring your enrollment paperwork to the congress managers on the opening day of the conference.

Information for overseas delegates

Travel insurance

The congress managers recommend that delegates purchase travel insurance including cover for non-refundable congress registration fees. Travel insurance must be purchased in the country of residence.

Quarantine

Australia has very strict quarantine rules which are enforced at all ports and airports. Animal and plant product imports are strictly controlled and prior application must be made to bring these into the country. Numerous food products such as meat, fruit and vegetables are also restricted and must be declared when entering the country. Passengers’ luggage is inspected using sniffer dogs.
